Rebecca Shepherd

Rebecca Shepherd is a full-time artist residing in Salmon Arm, B.C., Canada.

She mostly paints in acrylic and watercolour. Focusing on her view of nature and the

creatures living in it. Sometimes with a lot of humor and other times not so much. She

pushes the colour narrative to extremes in a bold loose style. Recently she has became

interested in the aging face and its ability to tell its story, especially when in nature and the

creatures found there.

Rebecca grew up in a creative household where art in any form was deemed important, for

which she is eternally grateful. She is originally from the UK, moving to Canada in her early

twenties.

Her work can be found in many collections around the world and in a few locations in BC.

She mostly attends artisan shows to display and show her art.
