Get to know us
Enderby City Hall was built in 1909.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Courtyard Gallery is to operate, on a nonprofit basis, an artist run gallery which provides opportunity for local artists to exhibit and sell their works. We are an eclectic group, as you will see in our gallery. We display paintings in a variety of media; handcrafted jewelry; pottery; wood carvings; sculptures; weaving, books, and fibre art fabrics and apparel; as well as a variety of gifts.
History
In 2012 a group of local artists came together with the vision of forming an art gallery in Enderby. With some fundraising and a start-up grant of $3000 from the Enderby and District Arts Council the newly formed Enderby Artists’ Initiative opened the doors of the Courtyard Gallery in April of 2013.
Goals
This nonprofit, co-operative gallery aims to showcase the work of local artists and reach out to the community with workshops and exhibitions, as well as participate in local arts festivals.
